Born February 22, 1902 in Naumberg, Germany
(outside Kassel). Moved to the United States of America in 1929
after working in Venlo for Zeiss Optical. Worked for Bausch
and Lomb in Rochester for several years and eventually worked
as a tool and dye maker at Kodak till retirement. Met his future
wife Luise while working in Holland together at Zeiss Optical.
They had two boys (Werner and Fredrick) in the USA and lived
in Rochester NY. Opa passed away in December, 1993 at the age
of 91.
Born March 15, 1902 in Kaldekirchen (Nettetal
II), Germany. Moved to the United States of America in 1930
after working in Holland for Zeiss Optical. She met her future
husband, Johannes, while working at Ziess Optical in Venlo.
When entering his personal data she noticed that she had vacationed
in the town in which he was born. They struck up a conversation
on that note and the rest is now the Schmidtmann family history.
They had two boys (Werner and Fredrick) in the USA and lived
in Rochester NY. Oma passed away in January, 1993 at the age
of 90.
Born September 13, 1937 in Rochester NY. Obtained
a bachelors degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology
in chemistry. He began work for IBM and lived for some time
in Burlington, Vermont but eventually settled in New Baltimore
Virginia - just south of Washington D.C. Currently retired and
still residing in Virginia.
Born July 19, 1932 in Rochester NY. Obtained
an associates degree in Police methods from Erie Community College
followed by a bachelors in criminal justice from Buffalo State.
He then served on the Greece (a Rochester suburb) police force
for 12 years and eventually began working for New York Intelligence
over the next 25 years. Married Joan Meyers in 1951 and had
three boys (William, Carl, and Eric). Currently retired and
still residing in Greece NY with Joan.
Born April 23, 1932 in Rochester NY. Obtained
an associates degree in nursing from Monroe Community College.
She then worked as a nurse for Strong Memorial Hospital over
the next 20 years. Married Werner Schmidtmann in 1951 and had
three boys (William, Carl, and Eric). Currently retired and
still residing in Greece NY with Werner.
William Schmidtmann
Born February 3, 1952 in Rochester NY. Graduated
from Arcadia High School in 1971. Married Karen Clovis in 1972
and had two children (Andrea in 1975 and Frank in 1977). Currently
working for Eastman Kodak Company (since 1981) as a Tool and Dye
maker and has started his own machine shop at his home in Naples,
NY.
Born May 13, 1952 in Rochester NY. Graduated
from Cardinal Mooney High School in 1970. Married Bill Schmidtmann
in 1972 and had two children (Andrea in 1975 and Frank in 1977).
Attended the Isabella Graham Hart School of nursing to obtain
her LPN. Currently working for Lifetime Health and RGH.
Born January 26th, 1957 in Rochester, NY. Graduated
from Olympia High school in 1975. Attended the University of Rochester
for one year, then eventually graduated from the University of
Buffalo in 1982 with a BS. in electrical engineering. After graduating
he moved to Sunnyvale, CA and started working at Intel. He married
Rita Laughter in 1993 and still lives with her in Sunnyvale. He
founded Faultline Software Group, Inc. in 1992 to provide computer
consulting to companies in the area.
Born March 12, 1953 and raised in McIntosh,
MN. She attended Bemidji State College and Seattle Lutheran
Bible Institute, and served in the Air Force. She married James
Laughter in 1975, worked for 9 years as a broadcasting technician
in several Florida television stations, and then moved to Sunnyvale,
CA. She received an AA in Computer Info Systems from DeAnza
Community College, divorced, and worked in software development
for 17 years. She married Carl Schmidtmann in 1993, began studying
art, received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from San Jose State
University in 2004. She now does painting, ceramics and weaving.
Eric H. Schmidtmann
Born December 3rd, 1958 in Rochester and grew
up in Greece NY. Graduated from Olympia High school in 1976. Married
Sharon Caufield in 1982 in Rochester N.Y. and they had two children
(Erin in 1988 and Eric in 1990). Currently working for CSW Inc. in Gates NY.
Born July 23, 1960 in Rochester, NY. Graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School in 1978 and the Continental School of Beauty Culture in 1979. Married Eric H. on October 30th, 1982. They have two children - Erin in 1988 and Eric J. in 1989. Currently working for Wegman's Food Markets since 1979.
Born March 13, 1975 in Rochester and grew up
in Naples NY. Graduated from Naples High school in 1993. Attended
Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Va for one year then
completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at St. John Fisher
College (1997) in New York. She married Josh Kulp in 1998 and
together they have two children (Abigail in 2001 and Nathaniel
in 2003) so far. Currently working for the Wilson Health Center
in Rochester, NY. Andrea has also returned to St. John Fisher
college since fall of 2004 to achieve her Masters in Nursing
Science.
Born March 1, 1975 in Rochester, NY. Josh grew
up in Honeoye Falls and Pittsford, NY. Graduated in 1993 from
Pittsford Sutherland High School. Graduated from the University
of Rochester in 1998 with a Bachelors in Science in Nursing
and married Andrea Schmidtmann that same year. Currently working
in the emergency room at Thompson Hospital in Canadiagua and volunteers
as an EMT at Pittsford Ambulance. Also co founded Prime Crew
Solutions in Rochester NY.
Frank Schmidtmann
Born June 14th, 1977 in Rochester and grew up
in Naples NY. Graduated from Naples High school in 1995 and began
attending college at St. John Fisher, Finger Lakes Community College,
and Monroe Community College. Graduated in 1999 from St. John
Fisher college with a B. Sc. in Chemistry with a concentration
in Biochemistry and a B. A. in Biology. Moved to Virginia and
began his graduate work in chemistry at the University of Virginia.
Graduated from the UVa in 2004 with a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic
Chemistry. Currently living in Ruckersville, Virginia and working
as a Group Leader for Adenosine Therapeutics Group, a division of PGX Health. Also awarded
the title of Visiting Scholar for the University of Virginia for
2004-2006. Frank holds a second degree black belt in ATA Taekwondo and is currently completing in Xtreme Martials Tournaments.
Born February 10, 1988 in Rochester NY. Graduated from Greece Olympia High School in 2006 and is currently attending Rochester Institute of Technology majoring in Imaging Science.

Born November 13, 1989 in Rochester, NY. Currently attends Mary Cariola's Children's Center.
Born November 29th, 2001 in Rochester, NY. Graduated
from St. Patrick's Preschool and will be attending Victor Kindergarden
in the fall of 2006.
Born March 8th, 2003 in Rochester, NY. He will
be attending St. Patrick's Preschool in the fall of 2006. Nate
loves hockey, football, and of course - firetrucks.
